I recently stayed one night here. I only chose it due to proximity to my work event. My first room allocated 134 was so loud as it's really close to Flemington Rd. Moved to 204. On Harker St. Noisy but not as bad. Definitely a very tired hotel. My room was missing one curtain only a backing on one side. Room service for a quiet Wed night. No Veggie burger at 6.15pm. Chicken burger option was not cooked so are around the chicken. Breakfast buffet. Ok. Coffee machine. Wouldnt recommend.

Family getaway with 2 kids and Staff were very accommodating of our bits and pieces such as scooters and bags after checkout whilst we explored the city. Close to bus and trains, great spot with space for kids to adventure and not be surrounded by buildings.. zoo nearby.. awesome. Room service reasonably priced for the conscience and easy..

We were booked into the Mercure so we could stay close to our son in Royal Childrens Hospital for no reason the hotel cancelled our booking and offered us to rebook the room at a much higher rate. Funny how the rate went up as Taylor, Pink and the Caravan Show were in town! Poor form!

This hotel is listed as 4 star , if this hotel is 4 star , then I am Albert Einstein. The room was dirty as in dusty , the curtains were stained and the walls were marked , the place is in serious need of a makeover , it looks bit like a correctional facility from the outside , the paint is peeling and chipped it is just not in a very good condition. I did not try the restaurant because of this so I cannot comment on that , there also appears to be a staff shortage .the staff that I met however were fine .

- ils sont très grossiers (vous dites un mot, ils vous en rendent deux ; vous dites deux, ils vous en rendent quatre) ; - ils posent beaucoup de questions personnelles, je me sentais mal à l'aise ; - fenêtres sales ; - il n'y avait pas de savon liquide dans la salle de bain, j'ai dû demander qu'on le remplisse.
