Booked through Secret Escapes for my wife's birthday. A very enjoyable stay including a treatment at the Spa, use of the pool and a really excellent meal in the Oak Restaurant. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, particularly Cheryl and Morgan on reception and the excellent Maitre D, Kelvin in the restaurant. Minor complaint about the hard pillows and the lack of EV chargers but these didnt detract from a lovely stay.

Very helpful and friendly lady on reception when I checked in.

I went alone for spa treatment, dinner and afternoon tea. Good value for money with the package deal. The lady working behind the bar was very polite and welcoming, as was the lady at reception. Thank you!

Hotel is comfortable, we had a junior suite has everything you need although a little 'tired' looking, although it is very clean and staff are very accommodating and efficient. The location was good for our daily travel over three days into Shrewsbury School, five miles away.

Hospitality was great, room comfortable enough and polite staff. However the room we booked online wasn't the room we were allocated. We wanted a sofa, top to bottom windows with a view- instead we got a much smaller room, with two cramped in arm chairs and tiny very high windows you would have to climb on chair to see outside!! I would have asked for a relocation if staying longer and spending more time in the hotel during day. Fortunately we were attending my son's football tournament and had to be at the games early morning daily..
