Hotel rooms and food were good but there were lots of flies and mosquitoes in and around the room. There were spiders as well. So didn’t feel safe there.

It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback but I am sorry that during the period you stayed there was an insect abundance in the hunter after the large storms. Sadly, the gardens are a safe haven for little bugs when the weathers bad and seem to take some encouragement to depart. I have advised our pest company to visit immediately after a storm to prevent this as much as possible going forward. I will share your comments with our team. Great location with friendly staff. However the hotel is in need of a refurbishment

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Mercure, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore, your feedback is very important to us. I am a little confused by your feedback, our carpet in rooms has just been replaced and our external building has just been repainted this year. We are going through this refurbishment at the moment. I have asked the team to check your room for a recent stain is all I can think has happened to the new carpet. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.
