Thistlegorm Shipwreck

At a staggering size of 125m long, the Thistlegorm Wreck requires divers a duration of two days to be able to discover the wreck wholly. The large ship sunk 33m into the Red Sea in 1941 and it was not until 1956 that it was rediscovered by French naval officer, Jacque Cousteau. Motorbikes, trucks, cars, trains and an array of ammunition are a few of the things discoverable in the monumental wreck. In addition to this, prepare to share the waters with mesmerizing marine life such as tuna, barracuda, crocodile fish, lion fish and turtles. The site is best discovered in the morning to avoid bombardment of private yachts and fishing boats, also the natural light will make your adventure a whole lot tranquil!
