In a romantic style, Mercado Municipal (Municipal Market) was designed by Ramos de Azevedo in 1908, combining his good taste to the needs of the time, after all, times were different and the purpose for this building was exporting sugar to Santos. Listed by Condephaat, the place today houses 143 stalls with different types of foods, like cereals, fish, spices, meat, vegetables, and more. The corn stall is a delight and has many dishes to offer. It's worth tasting!
