State Library of Victoria, Melbourne

Myths & Legends
Cherished for its 1.5 million books and its garden, the State Library of Victoria holds numerous mysteries. Sometimes magical ones. In 1978, Will Alma, celebrated Australian magician, donated a large number of books and other items to the institution. Known as the WG Alma Conjuring Collection, this gift came with one condition: only magicians or established researchers may have access. While the library has since made the collection open to the public, a second legend remains. Behind the façade of the library’s main room, a hidden room contains all the magic profession’s secrets. Even the one about the rabbit and the hat. It is up to you to find a way in. With or without magic.State Library of Victoria, Melbourne
