In the middle of San Lorenzo, the famous market with stands selling clothes, leather goods, and souvenirs, there is another market: the Mercato Centrale.
The roofed structure designed taking inspiration from the Les Halles market of Paris, was born as a simple farmer’s market, but now hosts a parking lot and especially has become a point of reference for culinary excellence and street food.
Next to the stands where fresh goods are sold, there are tables where you can savor a good glass of wine, or taste one of the numerous house specialties, made using only the raw material from the Market, of course. A temple of taste.
