A single place, in which you may walk through 5 locations that would otherwise be hundreds of miles apart: a hyper-perfumed Mediterranean scrub, a warm beach, a rocky corner, a quagmire, and finally a desert. These are the areas of the Naples Botanical Garden, a 12-hectare green lung. The structure commissioned by Giuseppe Bonaparte, brother of Napoleon, is now a university research center that includes 9000 plant species, and almost 25000 specimens.
