How many Italian cities can boast an artistic and cultural “second team”? Palermo is definitely one. “Le vie dei Tesori” (road of treasures), at its 10th edition, was born in virtue of the presence across the Palermo territory of a richness of sites not immediately belonging to the list of top monuments, which are narrated and experienced almost unprecedentedly. In fact, the festival allows everyone to visit hundreds of aristocratic palaces, villas, churches, theaters, crypts, innumerable urban and nature tours, and workshops for kids. An experience with a double purpose: to make the lesser-known Palermo known to its own citizens; and to offer a surprising artistic and cultural program to tourists.
