All the history of motorcycling in the Marche region is present in Pesaro, at the Officine Benelli museum.
In the 10,700 ft2 of the former Moto Benelli factory, there are over 150 models of Benelli motorbikes and Moto B – “the aristocrat of motorcycles” – bikes dated to the pre-WWI period. The museum also includes the first motorcycle crossing Pesaro in 1897, a De Dion-Bouton tricycle, lots of prototypes, and the latest vehicles made in the 1970s when an Argentine businessman bought the brand.
As well as the part dedicated to photographs and trophies, the Officine Benelli also host a library and a school for vintage motorcycle restoration.
