La berlina di gala - Palazzo Gradari - via Della Rovere

A sedan, 16’4” long, 9’8” tall, and just over 6’5” wide, was a less-than-humble vehicle used for special occasions, and is now exhibited on the ground floor of Palazzo Gradari.
This four-wheeled model is dissimilar to any modern vehicle, first of all because it dates back to the 18th century and, of course, it was pulled by four horses. Once property of the Mosca marquises and restored by the City of Pesaro – its new owner – the gold-painted poplar and spruce wood wagon is a rare example of luxury chariot, and certainly the most elegant ride in Pesaro.
