There are no tickets for the Bicipolitana (“bike subway”), because to travel the 80 km (about 50 mi) of tracks connecting the various areas of Pesaro all you need to do is hop on the seat of your own bike, or one rented through the city’s bike-sharing service.
With its 11 lines, all numbered and color-coded just like any subway, the Bicipolitana has eliminated the stress of moving in traffic, reduced pollution by improving sustainable transportation, but especially has allowed Pesaro to take on the nickname of “Bike-city”.
We particularly recommend Line 2, the blue line, extending from the harbor to the seaside, or even to the city of Fano if you’re feeling fit!
