Rimini has its own Dorian Grey painting. The city's museum is a building dating back to 1700. The Roman lapidary is kept here, Fellini’s book of dreams, and the collection of pictures by René Gruau. There is also a painting which has sustained various alterations, The young monk and doctor, depicted by Rimini local Guido Cagnacci does not age due to a pact with the devil, but the painting has been changed numerous times. Behind the religious man’s shoulders there are sacred books which were formerly science books and on the left, the man’s name has disappeared. Despite these variations, the young monk permanently seems young and attractive.
