It resists the passing years and stays there, still and proud, pushing people to travel back in time, to open a door and glare towards that which has been, This is what happens when you enter the palace of the Agolanti Pedrocca family that, as well as having housed the noblemen, has been the headquarters of the Bank of Italy. The building includes a portion of Aurelian Walls, with what once was the city’s perimeter becoming one of the walls of the more modern structure. Furthermore, digging under the palace and its court, tombstones, marble objects, and ornaments have emerged and are visible today, walking over glass flooring.
