Stezzano

Parco Boschetto - Via Rizzo

With its nearly 800 acres of green space, Stezzano is included in the protected agricultural area of the Rio Morla e delle Rogge, a large park with the specific purpose of incentivizing agriculture and promoting natural areas by means of a series of walkways in nature. The area also includes other towns in the province of Bergamo that are touched by the Morla river and more small creeks branching from it.
Furthermore, the Parco Agricolo Ecologico (agricultural and ecological park) of Bergamo and Stezzano has also been created in order to form a green belt around the residential areas of the two towns, where to encourage sustainable agriculture. Corn, soybean, and wheat fields alternate with small shrub forests and plants hosting swimming, walking, and flying animals.
Finally, Stezzano also boasts eight urban parks, because no green is too much green.
