Torre Beroa - Via IV Novembre 22

In the Middle Ages, a moat, a drawbridge, and an entrance door completed the fortification of Stezzano, to control access from nearby villages and to defend the borough.
Today such architectural elements once belonging to the castle at the corner of Via Caroli and Via IV Novembre are no longer visible, but the structure is still recognizable with its imposing style and small turrets. Thanks to a restoration operation, the two 12th-century towers remain an important witness of medieval life in Stezzano.
