Swan Lake - a lake in Lipetsk on the territory of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Combine. Located next to the shops of steelmaking and rolling production. Swans in the lake on the territory of the town-forming enterprise appeared on October 25, 1978. Mute swans were the first explorers of the reservoir. A little later, new species of birds from the biosphere reserve "Askania-Nova", Rostov and Riga zoos joined the tribe. Surface of the green area is 6 hectares. Near the lake, there is a park area with aviary for birds. The reservoir is replenished with process water from the plant, which is being cleaned. Thus, the company's managers want to show how safe the combine is. Today there are about 420 birds of more than 50 species.
