Bourton-on-the-Water, affectionately known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds', is regularly voted one of the prettiest villages in England. When you visit, you'll see why. You can play giant for a day at the Model Village, a one-ninth scale model of Bourton-on-the-Water. It’s a fascinating, painstaking reproduction of the village as it stood in the 1930s, complete with the River Windrush and its stone bridges. If you look closely you’ll even see a model of the Model Village itself.
