WHERE LEGENDS ARE MADE

London

The Troubadour, 265 Old Brompton Road

Tucked away behind an unassuming façade on the Old Brompton Road, there’s a place where musical history has been written. Established in 1954 at the height of London’s café boom, the Troubadour quickly became a cultural and musical hotspot. Legends have been born on its tiny stage – Bob Dylan made his London debut here, and stars like Jimi Hendrix, Joni Mitchell and Elvis Costello have all serenaded guests over the years. More recently, contemporary stars like Ed Sheeran and Adele have performed, and you'll find a programme of folk, jazz, poetry and acoustic music that’s as vibrant and vital as ever.
