THE HISTORY OF AN INDUSTRY

Warwickshire

British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon

This vast motor museum began as a collection of preserved, historic cars from the car companies that eventually made up Britain’s nationalised motor industry. Since it first opened in 1993, the Museum has vastly increased in size. Today it houses the world’s largest collection of historic British cars, with nearly 300 exhibits that span the classic, vintage and veteran eras. Here you will find all of the iconic names of the industry: Land Rover, Jaguar, Austin, Morris, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, and even a Sinclair C5!
