Breakfast: fab! Staff: polite, attentive, nice! For the dog: fab location right next to a small (1.5km) walk along a stream for the quick morning and evening walk, 2 minutes away from La Dives to walk to the beach. Dogs are allowed in the bar area. Staff aren’t afraid or worried about dogs. For the humans: big pool, good choices of spa equipment. For the kids: table football, kids cinema… . All around great.

Stayed at the Hotel for 3 nights... had a balcony room with Breakfast included. Very clean, modern Hotel.. very relaxing, excellent, very friendly and helpful staff. Good quality buffet breakfast and an excellent pool with saunas and hammam. To have had an evening‘restaurant’ or light snack arrangement would have been a big plus, but not really that important as there were plenty of excellent restaurants available in Cabourg, which was walkable in c 20 minutes. Hope to return soon...

Good clean functional quiet. Room fine. Tea making facilities but cups provided were paper cups so you could only use them once, and only two milks also. Plastic cups in plastic bags in the bathroom; hotels need to stop doing this. Too far to walk to town and no restaurants nearby. Lovely little town and resort. Breakfast was the usual but was overpriced at 18 euros. The bread was factory bread, the ham cheap, the fruit tasteless, no table service. Bed comfortable etc. Staff pleasant.

Two minutes by car to the sea, or fifteen minutes along the Dives River to walk to dinner. For those who want a bit of privacy. Hotel is modern, clean, moderately priced, free outdoor parking. Very nice breakfast with all kinds of food to start the day. Bar has a fair selection of beer, wine, whisky, and cocktails but no bartender. The negative, if any, is no restaurant on premises. We found the main drag for restaurants is only a few minutes away. Oh, the trotting race track is right down the block.

No better location than this if you want to spend a 1 week holiday in Normandy

Being an enthousiastic Accor customer for a while, I kind of knew what I could expect. Foremost : excellent service. To give you an example: I forgot my spare car keys in the lobby the last day of my holiday. No problem for Mercure: I got them back a couple of days later in Belgium (the hotel posted the keys to me without any costs). What I remember from this place is also the excellent breakfast. It was a pure delight to have those jummy petite macarons to start the day with a smile. I can for sure recommend Mercure Cabourg as a holiday spot.
