For climbing pros and amateur climbers, Salzburg has its own via ferrata right in the middle of the city. The City Wall, as it is known, has four different routes with a total of 30 handgrips and 40 footholds that lead right up to the Kapuzinerberg. Ranging in difficulty from levels "A" to "D", each route offers beautiful views over the rooftops of Salzburg. Equipment is available on site. The only thing you need is solid footwear and some arm muscles. And don't worry, on-site professionals are there to secure you while you climb.
