Palazzo Pretorio - Piazza Podestà 11

Palazzo Pretorio has always been the political hub of Rovereto. That which was the residence of the vicar of the Castelbarco family in the 1300s was expanded in the 1400s and transformed into an elegant noble palace hosting the Podestà of Rovereto. On one side of the building, the decoration dating back to the period of the Republic of Venice is still visible. The palace was restructured and once again expanded in the 1900s, and now houses the city hall, the city museum, and a series of marvelous rooms decorated with stuccos and frescoes.
