Museum van Loon - Keizersgracht 672

In the heart of the Amsterdam Canal District lies Museum Van Loon. This magnificent private residence was built in 1672, in the Amsterdam Golden Age. The first resident was the famous painter Ferdinand Bol, an apprentice of Rembrandt. The interior of the house has remained largely intact during the last centuries and still displays the glory of Amsterdam in the 17th century. In the rooms you will find a large collection of paintings, furniture, porcelain and silverware from different centuries still in possession of the family Van Loon. During your next visit in Amsterdam, make sure to visit the house, garden and coach house.
