It’s worth coming to Cracow for many reasons; to visit the historic old town, get lost on the streets of Kazimierz and … take a dip in azure clean water. Zakrzowek is a beautiful lagoon, 10 minutes’ drive from Cracow’s old town. Due to its lime composition, its landscapes are comparable to those in Croatia. Azure water ripples amongst white rocks and green flora. The place is considered a best-kept secret and locals rather reluctantly tell tourists about it. It’s also absolute underwater paradise for divers. You can find many objects at the bottom of the lagoon – car and Antonov plane wrecks as well as desks, armchairs and many other peculiarities.
