The St Albans farmers’ market is held every second Sunday of the month, in the morning. It’s a mouth-watering experience, with a host of stalls selling cheeses, herbs, breads and cakes, meats and game, seasonal fruits and vegetables. There are also some craft stalls and live entertainment. In the autumn, the St Albans and Harpenden Food and Drink Festival showcases the fantastic range of food, drink and produce available throughout St Albans District. One of the highlights is the Street Finale, when the town centre buzzes with stalls – many offering tempting food cooked on the spot.
