Ilse Schreiber sells sausages based on an old family recipe from her stand at the Kleinmarkthalle indoor market. The stand is one of ten on the so-called "Metzgermeile" (Butcher's Mile) on the ground floor. But it’s the only one with a cult factor. The tiny kitchen hasn’t changed since it opened in 1954. The white tiles, the meat hooks on which the sausages hang, the boiler – all still the way they were back then, when the shop was run by her grandfather-in-law.
