The music producer and radio speaker was above all a lover of music and of his land, Sardinia, and since a very young age he started collecting audio material in Sardinian dialect as well as traditional cantu a chiterra (“singing with guitar”) compositions.
Much more than a simple museum and library, the archive commemorates Mario Cervo’s passion and aims to be a home for all lovers of Sardinian music and all the musicians who keep it alive.
